My family’s favorite. If you’re looking for a great recipe for cube steak, here it is. T&T Meats has the best cube steak and you can also pick up a copy of the recipe from us. Makes an awesome gravy also so fix some mash potatoes or rice to go with it.

Any leftovers it is great on a biscuit too.

Cube Steak
Salt, Pepper
Cooking Oil
2 cans Campbell’s French Onion Soup
Hot Water

Preheat Oven to 350°F.


Step 1: Prepare Cube Steak
Salt & pepper cube steak to taste. The flour each steak.


Step 2: Start Cookin’
Cover the bottom of any size frying pan with oil, heat to high. Brown both sides of each piece of cube steak on the stovetop. When cooked, remove from frying can and place in baking dish.


Step 3: Make The Sauce
Remove the oil, but keep the drippings in the frying pan. Turn heat to high and add 1-2 cans Campbell’s French Onion Soup and 1-2 cups of hot water (I use one cup of hot water for each can I use).


Let the mixture come to a boil, stirring every few minutes until the mixture is well mixed. Pour over cooked cube steak in the baking dish and place in 350°F oven for 1hr.

This can be served over rice, mashed potatoes, or over bread. Enjoy!
