COOKING STEPS
We removed the outside membrane. I let the cast iron heat with some oil while I seasoned the roast with salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and some Weber Steak and Chop seasoning.
Seared on high on both sides, added in some minced garlic and butter to the skillet and spooned over the meat as it was cooking.
I was a little nervous about getting it cooked to at least medium since it was my first time & it’s thick, so I popped it in the oven for about 5 minutes after I felt like it was just about to medium.
